The facts of the case study
Our client, Mr G, was delivering leaflets door to door advertising his tree surgery business. He got to one house and pushed the leaflet through the letterbox, but as he did so he was bitten by a dog inside, causing an injury to his finger. After being bitten Mr G noticed that there was a “Beware of the Dog” sign, but it was hidden when the gate was opened
The injury to Mr G’s hand was not only very painful, but it meant that he was unable to work for two weeks, leaving him significantly out of pocket.
